Birds Interacting with Birds

I worked the recent election recently and hadn’t been out birding in several days. What a treat to finally get out there again! Below are some of the birds Katherine and I have seen so far this month.

Oh, and speaking of Katherine, she now has her own page on this site! You can access it from the menu or this link. Katherine rarely uses any camera except her phone but she has taken some very cool photos with it.

In the gallery below, birds interact in flight. (Click on an image to see a larger version.)

In the next gallery, taken at Antonelli Pond, one Double-crested Cormorant prefers another’s perch.

The Pied-billed Grebe in this next picture is “interacting” with a crawdad at Antonelli Pond.

The Say’s Phoebe in the next photo is probably not interacting with its shadow…

In the next post, more of November’s birds.
